Recipe Ingredients

  • (e) pickled ginger dressing
  • (f) hawaiian buns

Recipe Directions

  1. For best results, take the ground turkey out of the refrigerator 10 minutes before starting to cook. If you skip this step, you may need to cook the turkey longer than this recipe card indicates. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees fahrenheit. Line a baking tray with foil.
  2. Scoop the ground turkey (a) into a mixing bowl. Pour 1/4 of the teriyaki sauce (b) over the turkey. Add 1 pinch of salt for each serving you are preparing. Mix well with your hands or a wooden spoon. Form the turkey mixture into 3 inch-sized burger patties (you will have enough meat to make 4 patties per person). Place the patties on a baking tray lined with foil.
  3. Spoon more sauce onto each turkey burger (use about another 1/4 of the sauce in the container). Reserve the remaining sauce to put on after the turkey burgers have cooked. Place the baking tray of turkey burgers in your 425 degree oven. Bake for 14 minutes.
  4. While the turkey burgers are in the oven, prepare the salad. Pour the cucumber and radish (c) and greens (d) into a mixing bowl. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Pour 3/4 of the ginger dressing (e) over the salad. Gently toss with tongs. Reserve the remaining dressing for the burgers.
  5. When the turkey burgers have finished baking, remove the tray from the oven. Spoon the remaining teriyaki sauce and ginger dressing over the burgers. Let them rest for 2 minutes.
  6. Use a knife to slice open the hawaiian buns (f). Place a turkey burger into each bun. Top with salad or serve the salad on the side.
