Recipe Ingredients

  • (a) red potatoes
  • (b) seasoning salt
  • (c) romaine leaf
  • (d) roma tomato
  • (e) hawaiian buns
  • (f) prime ground beef
  • (g) pimento cheese

Equipment Needed

  • baking tray lined with foil
  • paper towel
  • cutting board & knife
  • large serving plate
  • skillet or saute pan
  • spatula
  • baking tray
  • dinner spoon

Recipe Directions

  1. For best results, take the prime ground beef out of the refrigerator 10 minutes before starting to cook. If you skip this step, you may need to cook the burgers longer than this recipe card indicates. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees fahrenheit.
  2. Open the container of potatoes (a) and use the lid to drain the water. Lay the potatoes out on a baking tray lined with foil or parchment. Use paper towel to pat the potatoes dry. Drizzle 2 tsp of oil (for each serving you are preparing) over the potatoes. Toss with tongs or your hands to coat the potatoes with oil, and spread them out evenly on the tray. Sprinkle the herb salt (b) over the potatoes. Place the baking tray in your preheated 325 degree oven and bake for 10 minutes.
  3. While the potatoes are baking, lay the romaine lettuce (c) out on a large serving plate. Slice the roma tomatoes (d) and place beside the lettuce. Slice the slider buns (e) in half and place on the plate as well.
  4. After 10 minutes, turn the oven temperature up to 425 degrees. Bake the potatoes for 5 more minutes or until golden brown.
  5. While the potatoes are baking at a higher heat, cut open the package of prime ground beef (f). Form into hamburger patties that are about the same size as the slider buns. Season each pattie on both sides with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  6. Heat a skillet or saute pan over medium-high heat for 2 minutes. When the pan has warmed up, add 1 tbsp of oil or enough to coat the bottom of the pan. Place the beef patties in the pan and sear for 2 minutes, then flip over and sear the other side for 2 minutes.
  7. While the sliders are cooking, your potatoes should be ready. Remove the tray from the oven and let the potatoes rest.
  8. After searing both sides, place the sliders on a baking tray. Open the container of pimento cheese (f) and stir. Top each slider with pimento cheese. Place the baking tray in the oven and bake for 4 minutes.
  9. When the sliders have finished baking, place inside the slider buns. Serve with lettuce and tomato as optional toppings, and roasted potatoes on the side.

In general really good. Had to cook the burgers & the potatoes longer than called for but still really quick. Only issue was the potatoes are REALLY salty. I’d definitely order again and just use less seasoning next time.
